Up for sale is a fantastic, well-looked-after Fender Japan Standard Series (ST-STD) Stratocaster in a striking Red finish with a classic maple fretboard.
Crafted at the highly regarded Dyna Gakki factory during the coveted 2004–2005 era (Serial Number: R047839), this guitar combines legendary Japanese build quality with modern playability. Unlike vintage reissues, the ST-STD features a highly playable 9.5" radius neck, a headstock truss rod adjustment hole, and rock-solid sealed Gotoh tuners.
Premium Upgrades & Tone The stock electronics (the main weak point of this MIJ series) have been completely overhauled with high-end, boutique upgrades:
Pickups: Upgraded to a set of premium, UK-made Wizard Hand-Wound Pickups, delivering exceptional clarity, dynamic response, and classic Stratocaster chime.
Electronics: Upgraded pro-wiring throughout.
Shielding: The control cavity has been fully shielded to drastically reduce hum and interference, making this exceptionally quiet and perfect for both stage and studio work.
Condition Report This guitar has been loved and properly cared for over the past 20 years.
Neck & Frets: The neck and fretboard are in great condition. The frets have loads of life left in them, play smoothly across the entire board, and show minimal wear.
Body Finish: The Candy Apple Red finish looks incredible. There is a small cosmetic ding on the top edge of the body (please see pictures), and the usual minor lacquer checking line near the neck pocket common to bolt-on Fenders. This is strictly superficial in the gloss finish and not structural. No other visible dings, dents, or chips.
